Nitsa Stamatis is an international educator and consultant with over 25 years of experience empowering student learning through Concept-Based Inquiry, Instructional Coherence, and Universal Design for Instruction. She has held leadership roles as team leader in social studies, science, and literacy, and has worked in diverse international settings including Canada, UK, Japan, Dominican Republic, Qatar, Colombia, and most recently, Vietnam. Currently, she serves as a Primary Years Programme (PYP) teacher, sustaining a direct and informed connection to classroom practice that enhances her consulting insight. Drawing on extensive classroom experience and professional development worldwide, her work is grounded in the frameworks of Harvard’s Project Zero and AERO standards. She focuses on making student thinking visible, deepening understanding, and building inclusive learning environments. Nitsa supports schools in aligning curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment to create impactful, student-centered programs that prepare learners to engage meaningfully in a complex world.
