For the past ten years Chris Charnitski has been helping schools and educators around the world to understand, develop and implement curriculum aligned to the NGSS, AERO Science Standards and the vision of science education presented in A Framework for K-12 Science Education.  Before he started consulting, Chris spent 20 years in the classroom learning from young people at schools in Fairfax County Virginia, Ecuador, Myanmar and Oman.

Chris is the AERO science representative, presents often with NESA and has presented for EARCOS, NSTA, MAIS and a number of other organizations. He writes 3D curriculum, is a certified OpenSciEd professional learning facilitator and has worked with the non-profit Achieve organization, authors of the NGSS, on their Science Peer Review Panel implementing the EQuIP rubric. More than anything, however, Chris enjoys working with educators developing inspiring and empowering experiences for their young learners
